We will not buy mass-produced new clothing for a year.

We will support organizations that are fair-trade and ones that do independent design work.

We will allow ourselves to buy certain necessities such as underwear, bras, socks, pantyhose. However, when purchasing such items, we will make socially-conscious decisions, and do our best to avoid mass-production.

We will make anything we can see and imagine. Our creativity will not be stifled.

We will borrow, barter, and give our clothing to others.

We will adhere to these mandates for a year’s time, beginning January 1st, 2010.

Our idea is simple. But that does not make it easy. Sometimes the best things in life are not always easy, yet they are always fulfilling. We want to be fulfilled.
